(ISP Press Release, May 17, 2025)

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho – On Friday, May 16, 2025, at 9:32 p.m., Idaho State Police (ISP) responded to a citizen report of a vehicle driving eastbound on US26 near 175th East with a missing tire, running on the rim.  The driver pulled over, exited the vehicle, and entered a nearby field.

At 10:02 p.m., a trooper located the unoccupied vehicle with the engine running.  At 10:23 p.m., the trooper located the suspect, who was armed with a rifle and made suicidal statements, prompting a standoff.  The Bonneville County SWAT team was called to assist.

The suspect surrendered without incident and was taken into custody at 12:02 a.m.

Trevor A. Clark, 34, of Ririe, was booked into the Bonneville County Jail and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and assault on a peace officer.
