A local attraction will close for renovations beginning Monday, October 13. The City of Lava Hot Springs shared the details on its Facebook page:
Sometimes a quick fix isn’t the answer. Sometimes something more is required for the best results.
Our hot pools will be temporarily closed from October 13, 2025 until November 7, 2025.
Open date is subject to change, we will update our website and social media.
Our hottest pool is very large, and renovating it is complicated.
Hot springs are not like a regular pool where you just drain it, they are constantly replenishing themselves naturally with new mineral water bubbling through the ground.
We have brilliant minds and skilled workers on the job to make sure the renovation goes as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Thank you for your patience and support as we upgrade this pool so that it can be enjoyed for many more generations to come.
