Pocatello citizens deserve transparency from their government not silence.
To keep you better informed, here is the amended complaint filed on 10/10/2025 in U.S. District Court (Federal) in the ongoing Alicia (Perez) lawsuit against the City of Pocatello.

The 10/10/25 complaint contains additional detail and amends the 06/26/25 complaint from the four (4) causes of action + damages to nine (9) causes of action + damages, to now include:
- FIRST CAUSE: Violation of 4th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution – Excessive Force
- SECOND CAUSE: Violation of 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution – Substantive Due Process, Loss of Familial Relationship
- THIRD CAUSE: Violation of 42 U.S.C. § 12132 -Americans with Disabilities Act
- FOURTH CAUSE: Monell Claim / Violation of 42 U.S.C § 1983
- FIFTH CAUSE: Negligence
- SIXTH CAUSE: Wrongful death
- SEVENTH CAUSE: Intentional Infliction of Emotion Distress
- EIGHTH CAUSE: Negligent Infliction of Emotion Distress
- NINTH CAUSE: Assault & Battery
