(City of Pocatello Press Release, November 12, 2025)

In response to the ongoing federal government shutdown, the City of Pocatello has worked closely with area partners to compile and share a list of local facilities and services offering support to those affected, including individuals who have lost SNAP benefits or are currently working without pay as federal employees. This list can be found on the City’s website at pocatello.gov/local-resources/.

“We recognize that many of our community members are facing uncertainty,” said Mayor Brian Blad. “Whether it’s a missed paycheck or a lapse in benefits, we want to make sure people know help is available and that our residents and partners are here to support them.”

Note: Many of these resources will remain available to those in need, even though the government has reopened.
