The City of Pocatello is hosting a reception honoring Mayor Brian Blad, Council President Linda Leeuwrik, and Council Member Rick Cheatum Thursday, January 8, 2026. The reception will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 911 North 7th Avenue. Light refreshments will be provided.
Mayor Brian Blad has served the City of Pocatello since taking office in 2010. Council President Linda Leeuwrik has served the City of Pocatello in City Council Seat #5 since 2018. Council Member Rick Cheatum has served in City Council Seat #6 since 2018. The City of Pocatello thanks all three leaders for their years of dedication and service to the community.
The event is open to the public, and community members are invited to attend and help recognize Mayor Blad, Council President Leeuwrik, and Council Member Cheatum for their contributions to the City of Pocatello.
