Happy New Year from our office!
As we welcome 2026, our team is hard at work behind the scenes to ensure titles from our dealer and financial partners are processed quickly. This means your new purchases are placed in your name faster, show up in your ITD online garage sooner, and are easier to access in state profiles.
A quick reminder: while we can assist with registrations by phone, we don’t control ITD’s online system. If you run into issues there, please call us—we’re happy to help where possible.
We’ve also had a lot of questions recently about why online registration is cheaper. We want to clarify this for our patrons. The state’s system is automated for mail-in and online processing, so no administrative fee is charged. In our office, staff manually process, provide, and/or mail items, which includes a $7 registration administrative fee (per Idaho Code 31‑870). This fee supports the personal service we provide when you need guidance. Titles, however, remain free of an administrative fee currently in our county to keep costs low.
