As families prepare for the upcoming school year, Marshall Public Library (MPL) is inviting the community to help local students start the year with the supplies they need to succeed.
Throughout August and continuing through the second week of September, MPL will collect new school supplies and personal care items for the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 supply pantry. Donations will help provide essential classroom materials and hygiene products to students and families in need.
Requested donations include:
Toiletry Items
- Shampoo
- Soap
- Shaving gel
- Lotion
- Deodorant
- Towels
- Washcloths
- Combs
- Feminine hygiene products
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Disposable razors
School Supplies
- Pencils
- Notebooks
- Paper
- Folders
- Pens
- Crayons
- Watercolor sets
- Highlighters
- Markers
- Colored pencils
- Rulers
Donations of new, unopened items may be dropped off at the first-floor checkout desk at MPL, 113 S. Garfield Ave.
“Some students need a little extra help to have a successful school year, and our community always donates generously to give them that help each year,” said Amy Azzouzat, Public Services Supervisor.
