The City of Pocatello is inviting residents to help shape the future of the community during Codeapalooza™, a multi-day public input and design event taking place September 28 through October 1 and October 6. All Codeapalooza™ events are open to the public.
The City, along with planning consultant TPUDC, is hosting Codeapalooza™ as part of the process to rewrite Pocatello’s Zoning Code. Throughout the event, community members will have opportunities to learn more about the project, work directly with the project team, ask questions, and share their ideas about how Pocatello should grow and develop in the years ahead.
Codeapalooza™ kicks off Monday, September 28 at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Pocatello City Hall, 911 N. 7th Avenue. The opening event will include a presentation about the project followed by an interactive mapping workshop.
The Zoning Code helps guide how property can be used and developed throughout Pocatello. Updating the code provides an opportunity to look at how current regulations are working and consider changes that reflect the community’s needs and vision for the future.
Community members who cannot attend the kickoff are encouraged to participate in other Codeapalooza™ activities or provide feedback through the project questionnaire.
