BINGHAM COUNTY- The Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred at approximately 8:13 a.m. on September 24, 2026, on I15 southbound at milepost 101, near Blackfoot.
A 30 year-old male, from Boise, was traveling southbound in a 2007 box truck at milepost 101. A 59 year-old male, from Idaho Falls, was also traveling southbound in a 1986 dump truck used for farming.
The box truck rear ended the dump truck. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
The driver of the box truck was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The lanes were blocked for approximately 3 hours for the investigation of the crash
Idaho State Police was assisted by the Bingham County Fire Department and emergency personnel. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
