Concerned with how restrictions implemented in response to the coronavirus are negatively impacting our way of life and local businesses, a group of residents have joined together to take action to reopen the community, support local businesses, and ensure that the freedoms guaranteed in our U. S. Constitution are reinstated in Southeast Idaho.

As part of that effort, the group, Reconnect Southeast Idaho, is hosting a free showing of the film, Non-Essential:  A Documentary, this coming Saturday, February 20.  Following the one-hour film there will be a discussion featuring the star of the film and founder of Utah Business Revival, Eric Moutsos, and Bannock County Commissioner Jeff Hough.  Two showings are planned, one at 7:00 p.m. and the other at 9:00 p.m.  Both shows will be held at the Leavitt Center, 1030 East Sublette Street, in Pocatello.

The organizers say, “It’s time for laughter and outings and events and a time to gather our families to prosper and thrive again.  Communities across the country are coming together to promote “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”… and we can do it too!  Learn how you can get involved and build our community.”
