RECONNECT Southeast Idaho’s Un-Masquerade Freedom Ball brought dozens of couples together at the Leavitt Center last Saturday for a fun-filled evening that raised hundreds of dollars to help support this summer’s Constitution Day Camp.
The evening included an hour of dance instruction from professional ballroom dancer and teacher Chantelle Holman, followed by two hours of dancing to classic ballroom music.
Between dances, couples had their photographs taken to commemorate the evening, snacked on desserts, and participated in a silent auction.
The Constitution Day Camp, to be held in Pocatello, is scheduled from July 26-30, from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Children ages 7-14 may attend. The camp will feature fun activities for the children to participate in while they learn about the founding of our nation.
The cost to attend the camp is $50 for the first child in a family, and $40 for every additional child. Snacks and t-shirts will be provided.
