Boise, Idaho — As previously announced, Idaho Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin has been assembling a task force to examine indoctrination in Idaho education.  Today, she is pleased to announce the list of individuals who have graciously agreed to serve on this task force.

In addition to Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin and co-chair Rep. Priscilla Giddings, the task force will include Janet Adams, Mark Hand, Sonya Harris, Elaine King, Jason Knopp, Joseph Kren, Karen McGee, Anna Miller, Isaac Moffett, Michael Nelson, Ryan Spoon, Laura Van Voorhees, Rev. James Wilson, and Professor Scott Yenor.

“I look forward to collaborating with this distinguished group of individuals who have volunteered their time and energy to consider feedback regarding our education system in Idaho,” Lt. Gov. McGeachin said.

The task force will have its first meeting in the Idaho State Capitol building’s Lincoln Auditorium on Thursday, May 27, 2021, from noon to 5:00 pm.

The meeting will be open to the public, but it will not include time for public questions or testimony.  The Feedback Form on the Lt. Governor’s website remains available for those who would like to provide feedback to the Education Task Force regarding their experiences with Idaho Education.
