MightyDawgs is serving up one America’s most popular meals in Pocatello and Chubbuck: The hot dog! It’s not just any hot dog. MightyDawgs cooks up high quality beef hot dogs produced by one of Idaho’s Premier beef producers, Snake Rivers Farms. With all 5-star reviews, it’s clear that they’re doing a great job!
MightyDawgs was started by Kurt DeCoria and family in 2017, selling hot dogs part time from a commercial street hot dog vendor cart, at their main location, 191 Jefferson Avenue in Pocatello, and the occasional local festival or event. Kurt and his family started the business to spend time together over the summers, while Kurt wanted to teach his son the retail food service industry. The family sought to bring a real street vendor hot dog experience to the community. They had so much fun selling their great tasting hot dogs, that they recently added a food trailer, which will allow better protection from the SE Idaho climate, and the ability to work full time at satisfying the local appetite. Their menu features an authentic Chicago Dawg that brings everything in from Chicago except the hot dog!
When not booked for an event, you can usually find MightyDawgs at their home location on Jefferson Avenue. Typical hours are from 11am to 3pm. Also look for them at Revive@5 on Wednesday and at Stuart Park in Chubbuck this Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as you relax with your family prior to Movies in the Park.
