The Human Relations Advisory Committee has three vacancies open for appointment.
This volunteer committee was established to advise the Mayor and City Council on matters related to human relations and civil rights concerns. The Committee serves as a forum in which citizens may informally present grievances, concerns or proposals to improve the quality of equal rights and opportunities for all residents. They also develop programs to educate the public about current human relations, civil rights and diversity.
Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
Interested persons ages 16 and older can obtain an application by contacting the Mayor’s Office at 911 North 7th Avenue, visiting the Advisory Committees link at pocatello.us or by calling 208-234-6163.
Applications must be received by August 24, 2021.
