The United Seniors Project will be holding their first annual fundraiser event, ‘Dance the Night Away,’ on Saturday, April 30. The event, a fundraiser to raise money for the purchase of a property/building, will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church gymnasium, 1350 Baldy Avenue, Pocatello.
The evening’s festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner provided by The Sand Trap restaurant. At 6:00 the Snake River New Horizons Band begins playing, and line dancing led by New Knowledge Adventures begins at 6:30. The Rail City Jazz Band opens at 7:00 p.m. A 50/50 raffle and silent auction, closing at 9:00, will also be featured. The night ends at 10:00 p.m.
Tickets must be purchased by April 22 and can be acquired at the Idaho State University Continuing Education/Workforce Training Office, 777 Memorial Drive, Room 184, or online at cetrain.isu.edu/dancethenight.
The cost for the buffet dinner and dance is $35 per person. The cost is $20 per person for dancing only.
