Pocatello, ID–Boys in 5th-8th grade can sign up for “D” League basketball beginning tomorrow, September 1. The City Calendar explains more about the league:
This is a competitive basketball league divided into two divisions for girls: 5th/6th and 7th/8th grades and four divisions for boys: 5th-8th grades. Boys’ 5th-8th grades will play in November and December. Girls’ 5th/6th and 7th/8th grades will play in February and March. Coaches put their own teams together. All practice times in School District #25 facilities are reserved by our department.
Players can register online at http://register.pocatello.us, or at the Community Recreation Center’s Team Sports Office at 144 Wilson Ave, between September 1 and October 7. Late Registration will be offered if space is available. The registration fee is $380 per team.
