Pocatello, ID–October 1 offers this year’s final opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste at the Bannock County Landfill. The landfill, located south of Pocatello at 1500 N. Fort Hall Mine Road, will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In a recent update, the county explained: “The Bannock County Landfill collects Household Hazardous Waste from April through October on the first Saturday of each month. County residents can bring their waste to the landfill’s household hazardous waste building for drop-off (or they will be directed by employees who remove the waste from the vehicles).”
