Idaho Falls, ID–Stand Up For Idaho, an Idaho Falls-based, nonpartisan citizens’ organization that peacefully and actively advocates for the rights and liberties of all Idaho citizens, presents OutWest Bible Church‘s Pastor Scotty Brown as the speaker for their upcoming Liberty Dinner on Thursday, September 1.
SUFI’s announcement reads:
“Our country and the world are in troubling times and many of us wonder how we got here and what we can do. It is without question our Founding Fathers strongly believed they were guided by God’s hand. However, God and morality seem to have disappeared. Do religions and churches even matter any more, or is it time for a Revival?
Pastor Scotty Brown will give us his perspective on the role of religion and churches in today’s world. This will not be a sermon but is intended to be a thought provoking evening on how do we stop the madness. I will be reaching out to other religious leaders (Bishops, Reverends, Pastors, etc.) to invite them to speak at SUFI events so we can get their perspectives also.”
The Liberty Dinner will be held at the Snake River Event Center at 780 Lindsay Blvd. in Idaho Falls. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the event will begin at 7:00. Tickets are $35.00 per seat, payable at the door. Cash and checks are accepted. Reservations must be made by Monday, October 31, at the latest. To reserve your seat, email info@standupforidaho.org.
