Pocatello–Adrian Smart, whose drive to help others led him to launch The Great Give-Back school supply fundraiser last August, reports that the donations received have been used to assist over 100 local kids. While many donations were distributed at the beginning of the school year, the final distribution happened only yesterday at Lewis and Clark Elementary School.
Smart extends his thanks to the community for their involvement in this endeavour:
I can’t thank you all of you enough for helping us make this fundraiser possible. May the man above keep on blessing you all. Where you all took out to help us to help these children, I pray that God replace it with way more than you all have given and donated. THANK YOU ALL KINDLY.
Deidra Terrell, who provided space for the fundraiser at her business, Idaho Coffee Company, said:
The Great Give Back 2022 was a HUGE success!!! We are truly so humbled and blessed by this amazing community that we live in! We were able to outfit and supply over 100 children in our local Chubbuck/Pocatello community! Several individuals and many local business owners came forward to participate and contribute!
