For those who want something fun to do this weekend that doesn’t involve shopping, here’s a list of festive activities to get you and your family in the holiday spirit.  Please note that while some activities take place in stores, none of them are shopping-focused.

Friday, 5:30-7:30 p.m.: Light Caldwell Park.  The event notes read: The College Neighborhood Association invites its residents to gather for a special event to “light our park”. It will be a magical evening with neighbors, live music, fresh doughnuts, a hot cocoa bar, a HORSE DRAWN WAGON and an appearance by Father Christmas around 6pm!

Saturday, beginning at 8:00 a.m.: Ace Rewards Annual Christmas Party at Ace Hardware/Element Outfitters.  They will be serving treats and hot drinks all day.  Customers will also be able to enter a drawing for a variety of prizes.

Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-4:00p.m.: BCHS 100th Anniversary & Holiday Open House at the Bannock County Historical Museum, located at 3000 Avenue of the Chiefs.  Treats will be served all day.  To see the schedule of events, click on the image below.
