A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BIRD RIDES, INC. will be considered for approval during this week’s City Council meeting on 02/16/23 at 6:00 p.m.
SUMMARY:
Idaho Coffee Company’s February Signatures

If BIRD RIDES, INC. Agreement is approved –

  • This is a “Pilot” Agreement effective until December 31, 2023
  • During “Pilot” – BIRD RIDES, INC. pays City a “revenue-share” of ten cents ($.10) per ride
  • Initial launch begins with 50 electric scooters / at no time more than 300 electric scooters within City
  • Scooters governed by current bicycle rules / to be ridden on streets and, where available, in bike lanes and on bike paths
  • Riders must be 18 years of age or older
  • Hours of operation are 24-hours-a-day/7-days-a-week under appropriate environmental conditions

A representative of P.A.G.E. informed the Observer that P.A.G.E. is not taking a position on this agreement; they simply want citizens to be informed that it is on the agenda so that those who so desire may contact the council.
