The City of Pocatello is inviting residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to help shape the future of the community by participating in the 2027–2031 Housing & Community Priorities Survey.
The survey is available online at forms.gle/eUkupqN3e2W4ReBK7 through September 1, 2026. Paper copies are also available at City Hall, 911 N. 7th Avenue, and Marshall Public Library, 113 S. Garfield Avenue. Whether you own your home, rent, own a business, or simply call Pocatello home, your feedback matters.
Public input will help guide the City’s 2027–2031 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Plan, which establishes priorities for housing, neighborhood improvements, public facilities, economic development, accessibility, and community services over the next five years.
Every five years, the City develops a CDBG Consolidated Plan required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, also known as HUD housing. The plan identifies community needs and guides how federal funding may be invested to improve housing, strengthen neighborhoods, support public facilities, expand economic opportunities, and enhance community services.
This effort supports the City’s Comprehensive Plan 2040, specifically the Authentic & Affordable Neighborhoods chapter, and advances the Mayor and City Council’s 2026 Priorities and Goals by using public input to guide future community investments.
