(City of Pocatello Press Release, September 8, 2026)

Golfers and visitors to Riverside Golf Course should be aware of upcoming parking and access changes as construction continues on the new Connections Credit Union Clubhouse.

Beginning September 21, 2026, the golf course office and pro shop will be relocated, and additional on-site parking will be restricted.

On September 28, food truck operations will move to the maintenance shop area near Hole #17 for the remainder of the season.

Golfers are encouraged to arrive early for tee times, park only in designated areas, and be respectful of surrounding residential areas. Drivers should also use caution and expect entrance access to be limited to one lane at times while crews install new utilities.

The temporary parking map is available to help golfers and visitors navigate the changes. Golf cart trailers will not be allowed in the construction parking lot, but additional areas have been designated for trailer parking.

“These changes are crucial to ensuring we can complete the site work and asphalt ahead of next spring’s grand opening,” said Parks & Recreation Director Anne Butler. “We appreciate the patience of our golfers, vendors, and surrounding neighbors as we work toward opening a new clubhouse that will serve our community for years to come.”

The new two-story Connections Credit Union Clubhouse will be approximately 3,700 square feet and include cart storage, a golf simulator, restaurant, pro shop, and 1,600 square feet of patio space. The project is scheduled to be ready for the 2027 golf season.
