Dr. Naomi Wolf: Vaccine Passports, “Literally the End of Human Liberty in the West”

Dr. Naomi Wolf, author, CEO, and former advisor to both Bill Clinton an Al Gore, raised the alarm on Orwellian plans to create vaccine passports.  “I cannot say this forcefully enough.  This is literally the end of human liberty in the West if this plan unfolds as planned,” she said while appearing on FOX News with Steve Hilton.

Wolf said that while a vaccine passport, “sounds like a fine thing,” it is important to understand what it will do.  “It is not about the vaccine or virus,” she stated, “it is about your data.”

Wolf went on to say that it can be merged with your PayPal account and payment plans, connect to all your networks, contain your medical records, and geolocate you wherever you go.

“I cannot stress enough that it has the power to turn off your life, or to turn on your life, to let you engage in society or be marginalized,” Wolf said.  She noted that this has already happened in Israel, creating a two-tiered society with activists, “ostracized and surveilled continually.”

Asked by Hilton what can be done to stop the implementation of vaccine passports, Wolf noted several steps, including bringing lawsuits, working to elect officials who believe in freedom, and to, “refuse to comply.”

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a high wind alert for Pocatello and the surrounding area.

NWS advises taking the following actions:

  • Bring inside or secure any loose items outdoors

Idaho District 34 Representative Ron Nate

Representative Ron Nate (R-Rexburg), a key leader in the fight for tax relief for Idahoans, will be the featured speaker at the Saturday, April 17, Liberty Dinner.

Nate’s topic for the second in the series of Liberty Dinners will be tax relief.  He will address the effort to repeal the grocery tax and property tax relief.  Further, Nate will discuss roadblocks faced in the legislature that are hindering efforts to have bills proposed by legislators on tax relief and other important measures heard.  The evening promises to be an enlightening one.

Nate was born and raised in Salt Lake City.  He received his B.S. in economics from the University of Utah and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Connecticut.  Nate is an economics professor at BYU-Idaho.  During his teaching career of over two decades, Nate has helped nearly 10,000 students understand the blessing of America’s free-market economic system.  Nate and his wife, Maria Olsen Nate, have four children.

The dinner will be held at the Bannock County Veterans Memorial Building, 300 N. Johnson Avenue in Pocatello.  The doors open at 6:00 p.m., with attendees having the opportunity to meet other citizens involved in, or looking to be involved in, promoting conservative ideas locally and in Idaho and beyond.  Guests will then be served a catered dinner of pulled pork, cole slaw, barbecue bean medley, green salad, and dessert.  Following the presentation by Representative Nate will be a question and answer period and additional time for networking.

The cost to attend the dinner is $25 per person.

Part of the proceeds for the event are dedicated to the AMVETS Americanism scholarship fund.

The Liberty Dinner series is sponsored by the Pocatello-Chubbuck Observer.

March 28, 2021

RECONNECT Southeast Idaho has announced that Constitution Camp will be returning to Pocatello from July 26 – 30 this year.  The camp, which has been a fixture in Pocatello for a decade, was not held last year due to the coronavirus restrictions.

RECONNECT posted the following on their social media FB page:

“Your kids will get to cross the icy Delaware with George Washington, throw tea into Boston Harbor, sign the Declaration of Independence with ink and quill pens they will make themselves, sew with Betsy Ross, meet King George and our Founding Fathers.

There will be a musical as our Grand Finale that will give the kids an opportunity to show their loved ones all that they learned throughout the week.

It is so important that the future generations learn about The Constitution and about our Founding Fathers who sacrificed so much.  I love that we are able to offer this education to them in a way that is approachable, hands-on, and so darn fun!

Snacks and t-shirts will be provided.”

The cost to attend the camp, which will run from 8:30 a.m. until noon each day, is $50 for the first child in a family and $40 for each additional child.  Children ages 7-14 may attend.
