In 1976, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) released false and misleading information regarding an inoculation they were promoting to stop what they told people could be a, “swine flu pandemic.” Thousands of healthy people appear to have suffered dire health consequences after taking the shot. The news show, “60 Minutes,” covered the issue in a 15-minute segment.
