Former President Donald J. Trump declared victory early Wednesday before an energized crowd of supporters. He told them that, “This will truly be the golden age of America.”
Races have been called by various news outlets giving Trump 276 electoral votes, with more likely to come. Trump is leading in Michigan, Arizona, and Nevada. Trump is also ahead in the popular vote.
Vice President-Elect J.D. Vance told the crowd that, “I think that we just witnessed the greatest political comeback in the history of the United States of America.”
On the way to his victory, Trump survived two assassination attempts and numerous Democrat lawfare attacks, including an unprecedented raid on his home by government agents.
Trump told his supporters, “God spared my life for a reason.”
